About Stacy Hatcher
Social Worker
My name is Stacy Hatcher and I am a registered clinical social worker with a Masters Degree in Social Work. I have 14 years of experience working with children, youth, and adults across various contexts.
I work with children ages 6 and up, adults, couples and families. I practice from a trauma-informed approach, with specific training in the field of trauma work with both children and adults. I have also been extensively trained and have worked in the area of addictions, with specific training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Substance Use Disorders. In addition, I have worked with children, youth and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, anger concerns, trauma as well as grief and loss.
I practice using a variety of modalities, working from a client-centred approach and helping individuals and families identify and meet their specific goals and needs. I primarily utilize Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (including with children/adolescents and individuals with substance use disorder), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, as well as Solution Focused and Strengths-Based approaches.
