About Dr. Katy Smallwood
Obstetrician – Gynecologist
Katy Smallwood was born and raised in Corner Brook, and was thrilled to move back to Corner Brook to work in January 2014. she did her bachelors of Science degree at Acadia University, medical school at Memorial University, and her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Queen’s University, finishing her training in June 2012. She worked as an Ob/Gyn in Moncton, New Brunswick, from 2012 until happily moving back to Corner Brook when a position became available in late 2013. she moved her practice to Veitch Wellness Centre in December 2014. She is passionate about women’s health, and is excited about all the benefits that a multi – disciplinary clinic will provide for women of Western Newfoundland.
Katy loves life in Western Newfoundland, and loves skiing, running, biking, hiking, and spending time with her family and her golden retriever Rosie.
