About Ainsley MacKinnon
Chiropractor
Dr. Ainsley MacKinnon is a chiropractor from small town Ontario. She graduated summa cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. MacKinnon grew up in Ontario, but her heart was always in the East Coast. She attended high school in New Brunswick, followed by a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Kinesiology at the University of Prince Edward Island. Finally, her heart has led her to practicing in Newfoundland.
Dr. Ainsley is trained in contemporary medical acupuncture, has experience with various manual therapy techniques, and is continually expanding her rehabilitation and motivational knowledge and techniques. She believes in providing evidence-informed, patient-centered care and loves to learn new ways to help improve her patient’s function and health. She enjoys working with all types of patients, but has a particular interest in chronic pain.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. MacKinnon holds various hobbies from art and photography, to sports and the outdoors. She is excited to be exploring what Corner Brook and the surrounding area have to offer!
