About Angie Knee
Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator
Angie received her Nutrition degree from Acadia University and became a registered Dietitian after she completed her dietetic internship in Edmonton, AB. She has worked both in Alberta and Newfoundland in various dietitian roles and has over 25 years’ experience as a registered dietitian. Angie specializes in various areas of nutrition assessment, diet modification, along with individual and group consulting/counseling. She can provide nutrition therapy in various areas including healthy eating and lifestyle management;gastrointestinal diseases & disorders; infants(including breastfeeding)/ toddlers/school age/adolescents nutrition; disordered eating & eating disorders; pregnancy nutrition needs; and food allergies & intolerances.
Angie was born and raised in Corner Brook and lives here with her husband Glen. They enjoys many winter and summer activities and enjoys visits from their 2 children. Angie works part-time with Nutritionally Your Best while continuing to work with Western Health as a Clinical Information Manager.
