About Suanne Collins
Registered Psychologist
Suanne Collins graduated from Memorial University with a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology. After finishing school, Suanne worked within the school system for one year before moving to Saskatchewan to work as a consultant for the government in the area of Cognitive Disabilities. Since returning home to Newfoundland, Suanne has worked as a registered psychologist in the health care field. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults and has experience providing services in the areas of individual, group and family counseling for various issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, separation/divorce, grief, etc. She has completed additional training the in the areas of clinical hypnosis and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). Currently she calls Corner Brook home with her husband and her three daughters.
